Introducing MLD CARE (health services)

There is a ton of more info to come, but I can’t tell you how excited we are to launch this program for all of you. We have been working on this since the end of November 2019! At first, the intention was to just simply give back, add to our client services and compliment and thank you for your confidence, trust and business.

This quickly morphed into something we now view as a pillar of our service as Sue Derlago said to me in a meeting “with many of our client families already or close to transitioning into a work optional lifestyle, lacking employer health benefits is a major topic and concern throughout my planning meetings”

Christmas holidays got in the way with a lot of back and forth with legal and compliance so the Teledoc team and ourselves agreed to pick things up in January. Well we all know what has happened in 2020, effectively the wheels fell off the bus and Covid19 has taken center stage, both from a health crisis, but also causing severe economic uncertainty and market turmoil. Our team worked tirelessly with legal and compliance to ensure a seamless integration and we are now ready to launch.

Part of me wishes we could have launched prior to Covid19 because Teledoc’s business has proven to be an incredible asset for its clients and their user interactions have surged, the other part of me is glad that we can launch this in a more normalized setting to allow clients time to onboard and familiarize themselves with the platform. Digital health or virtual care is here to stay, and Teledoc is the global leader.

We require a simple consent and release to be signed, basically our legal has said, clients need to acknowledge that we are merely paying for the service on your behalf and acting as an agent.

The information we need to provide and have access to is soley. Your NAME and BIRTHDATE, all other information that you provide to Teledoc is private and not available to MLD Wealth or Canaccord.
