Having spent over 30 years in the financial industry, Curtis began his career as a financial advisor with Walwyn Stogell Cochrane Murray. He was then a founding partner of a very successful Calgary-based investment dealer, where he built a dynamic institutional sales team. This allowed him to transfer the knowledge, skills and institutional relationships to create an esteemed and well-recognized wealth management team – MLD Wealth. He has leveraged his success, experience, connections and understanding of the industry to help identify opportunities and undervalued investments for high net worth clients. For his recognition as a successful team leader, Curtis has been ahead of the industry at all times knowing the needs of his clients and what’s important to them. He has surrounded himself with highly regarded and dedicated partners that he is proud to have by his side, both as partners and friends. With close to 80 years of experience, MLD Wealth is a business encompassing all of the skills, knowledge and integrity to ensure that their clients and their families will be looked after for generations.
After attending The U of S, Curtis spent numerous years completing the CSC, US and Canadian Futures and Options course, Officers and Directors course, Designated Registered Options Principle course.
Curtis is a founding partner of MLD Wealth. He surrounds himself with partners that he says are far smarter than he is. He’s continually adapting and changing to make sure they are constantly looking after their clients’ best interests.
Born in Humbolt Saskatchewan, raised in Saskatoon. One of three children with an older sister and younger brother. Growing up in a middle class family brought understanding to what hard work was all about, the value of money, and it didn’t come easy.
His dedication and love for his wife Kim, daughter Hailey and son Kade carries on into his passion for the investment industry. Curtis enjoys spending countless hours with his family and friends at the lake, on the water looking for someone to play with. Winter on the hill or on the trail is always a place that he can be found when not at work. Late at night you may run into him walking his dogs Charlie and Brodie.
